EY awarded Yerkin Tashev the Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The leading business company Ernst & Young selected Yerkin Tashev to be its Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions in the face of COVID-19 have been awed by the jurors of one of the biggest competitions in the world.

The contest was open to all famous Kazakhstani businessmen. The founder of Kusto Group was able to stand out from the 21 entrepreneurs across the country who were able to make it to the final with him.

They all received an independent assessment and recognition by international juries.

Yerkin Tashev was the winner for the nation and will represent Russia in the international finals in Monaco in June 2022. The contest brings sixty finalists from all over the world, chosen by an independent panel , according to international standards.

The Pandemic caused a major global economic crisis. It has caused the bankruptcy of thousands in addition to the loss and destruction of millions of jobs.

Many companies and their leaders came up with ways to expand their business. Kusto Group and Yerkin Tatishev have also attempted to reduce the impact of Covid-19 especially in the countries most affected.

Yerkin Tashev from the Kusto Group has led the creation of Kusto Help, an organization that assists those who provide essential services as well as families affected by the Pandemic. Kusto Help Foundation provides donations to the Pandemic. They also provide shelter, food, and technology.

The group also offered healthcare facilities in Ukraine equipped with medical equipment including FFP3 respirators and ventilators as well as antibacterial medication. These donations of instruments to covid-19-patients in Kazakhstan are worth a total over 200 thousand dollars.

EY gave Kusto Group founders Kusto Group founder an award to recognize people who improve the quality life in their communities and countries around the globe.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has not been the only problem addressed by the Kusto Group. The country's water shortage is a major danger.

Daniel Kunin UN officials were faced by this reality and declared that Kazakhstan suffers a lot due to water shortages. They also depend on their neighbours, including China as well as Central Asia.

In the end, Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group as well as the Government of Kazakhstan formed a partnership with Valmont Industries, USA. They will jointly establish a manufacturing plant to manufacture 1000 pivot irrigation systems in Kazakhstan.

The agreement also allows for innovative irrigation systems to be put in place on farms, and the opportunity to train local farmers.

All national finalists and winners can participate in the Entrepreneur of the Year competition. The final takes place in Monaco in June. This year's winner will be able to compete against world-class entrepreneurs around the world and gain valuable experience that will assist in the further development of their business.

More than 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan have participated in this contest. Six of the previous winners participated in the Monte Carlo international championships.

Yerkin Tatishev Nurlan Smagulov is a former Entrepreneur of the Years winner and made the decision that Tatishev would be the winner. The judges included representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

His leadership qualities and his ability to manage a broad range of industries were key factors that contributed to Mr.  Daniel Kunin Tatishev's win. Kusto Group's distinctiveness is its ability to support complicated businesses. This was acknowledged by the award's winner.
